Thinking of the moment our hero notices the girl for the first time. I really bounced around with technique on this one. I need to find a new way of working, so I think i'll experiment for a while.

I like this one because of the dreamy expression on the girls face. She looks like she's a million miles away. And it's really great how you made her stand out using more colors and details on her.

this is amazing. Love the play with light and color and drawing attention to the girl like that. It's very effective but also natural- not like a forced theatrical spotlight on her.

Again, I find myself gushing over your character's expression. I agree with Gingashi in that you used the lighting absolutey perfectly here. The viewer's eye is instantly drawn to the character upon seeing the image, but the lighting is done in a natural way. Excellent work. :)

iv only just started checking out your gallery but im wondering from this picture...what era/genre is this story set in? because looking at the three gents sitting beside her, they appear to be from different worlds!! i have no idea (yet) what the story is but i really like it how you made it look like these people are from completely different places yety are all here together at a fire.

I love how much action is in this. really its wonderful. you put me there. all of the men around her are so alive. she looks like shes so happy to be there. i love this. really great job the lighting is great!
